Sometimes there are products that we absolutely love, but we can only put them into production if we produce a large quantity. As a small company, it’s difficult for us to make these big inventory commitments without knowing if you will love the designs as much as we do! It’s a little like mind reading. That’s why we would like your help in being the designer by attending a focus group on June 24th at the BornFit headquarters. By participating in this focus group you, our wonderful BornFit customers, can be members of our Design Team, and tell us what you need in good athletic apparel.
So, what are we developing now?!?! A Nursing Sports Bra!!! We have looked at the competition, and feel we can produce a better product that meets your needs as an active nursing mom. If you have opinions and experiences of wearing nursing bras to work-out in, or sports bras to nurse in, we would love to hear from you! The criteria for the focus group participants include: female (of course!), age 27-35 (or around there wink! wink!), currently breastfeeding, and currently participating in high impact sports like running, jogging, soccer, basketball, etc.
Each focus group participant will receive a BornFit Rudy seamless tank top and a 50% off coupon as our way of saying thank you for your valuable input! And of course, if we get good feedback and decide to produce the bra, we’ll send you an email so you can be the first to buy it, wear it, and welcome it into your fitness wardrobe! Within a few months of the focus group, you just might be wearing a bra that you helped to create!

This is really cool! Given that I just had my first baby yesterday I am about 39 days away from starting to run again. I hope you all come up with a great design. I’ll need it!
Kia!

Thank you so much for your comment! AND CONGRATULATIONS
We will keep you posted

Wish I could be there unfortunately I live in the wrong state. As I am now a size F or E finding a good nursing sports bra is impossible. I would really love to see something that would work for active mom’s who are on the larger end of the scale.
I’m only a size C (previously B) and would prefer more support in my nursing sports bra. If you end up producing a sports bra tank (which, to my knowledge, does not exist anywhere on the market), I would definitely purchase that as well! I love my cotton nursing bra tanks, but for outdoor exercise, cotton is no good here the humid southeast, and those tops aren’t nearly supportive enough for my running anyway. Thanks, & sorry I’m too far away to attend!
I live in NW Denver and would be interested in putting in my 2 cents. I have a 13 week old baby and am just starting to get back into really exercising. I hope to be able to nurse for at least a year, so I am willing to invest in good nursing bras. I have been a runner all my life, but my breasts are so much bigger than they used to be (now a DD, was once a B/C), I find that my regular sports bras aren’t supportive enough. I usually wear a nursing bra underneath a sports bra in order to exercise, but running is still really “bouncy” for me, and I do like the convenience of being able to nurse.
I live in Fort Collins and am nursing my second baby while participating in StrollerFit as well as running 5ks once a month–yes, I’m the one who pulls over my double stroller at the end of the race to nurse. I currently wear one of those “sleeping” nursing bras to work out in, but there is no support and if I use a regular sports bra, it’s next to impossible to feed my baby without exposing and/or squishing myself.
